PAST EVENT – HIGH TEA AUGUST 2015

Taste the history: High Tea at the Sicamous

What’s better than an afternoon spent sipping tea and savoring scones? All
that, but aboard the historic S.S. Sicamous, serenaded by a live pianist and served by staff who
seem to have sprung out of a 1920s fashion catalogue.

On August 13, 2015, join us for a 1920s High Tea! The party goes from 2:00 to
4:00 p.m., but complementary guided tours of the ship begin at 1:15. Staff will be in costume and
you are invited to break out the suspenders and gowns if you wish!

Tea is provided by Teas & Weaves and scones will be freshly baked by Wouda’s Bakery, both
local Penticton businesses. Pianist Anne Lu will play classical and jazz pieces, all composed
before or during the 1920s to contribute to the historic atmosphere.

Early bird tickets are $15.00 and are available at the S.S. Sicamous and at Teas & Weaves,
Penticton. They can also be reserved by calling 250-293-0403. Tickets are $20.00 at the door.
