This Canada Day, we’re inviting all SS Sicamous members to join us for a front-row seat to the fireworks show from the bow decks of the SS Sicamous! It’s the perfect way to celebrate our nation’s birthday in a historic and scenic setting.

S.S. Sicamous members are all invited down to the ship to watch the fireworks from the bow decks. local beer, wine, and cider will be available for purchase. Chairs will be available and the giftshop will be open upon request.
Commemorative Cover Unveiling
The public is invited to join the Penticton Stamp Club and the S.S. Sicamous onboard the S.S. Sicamous for the unveiling of the S.S. Sicamous centennial Cover on Monday, May 20 at 10:00 AM. A Limited edition collectors cover, cancelled with a special Sicamous stamp created for our 100th birthday, and signed by the artist, Randy Manual, will be available for purchase at the unveiling. The original artwork will be on display at the ship during the event.

This event is not a S.S. Sicamous event and is hosted by the OKANAGAN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Be transported by composers of the early 20th century who shifted orchestral indulgences of the late romantic era into the clean lines of the Art Deco style. In The Soldier’s Tale, drawing on Russian folk tales, Stravinsky pits the soldier against the devil in a Faustian counterpoint of musical virtuosity.

Christmas Card Online fundraiser
Help Support the S.S. Naramata with our Second Christmas Card Fundraiser!
We are happy to announce that we will be raising funds to help restore the history of our future S.S. Naramata Museum. The funds will go towards preserving and restoring archives throughout our museum displays. We are hoping to open up the S.S. Naramata within the next year to the general public for private guided tours.
Murder Mystery Gala
Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of July. Please note they will sell out quickly so please watch our website for a ticket link.
On August 5, 1927 Drake Maverick, a wealthy businessman and notorious gambler from San Francisco was murdered onboard the S.S. Sicamous, while hosting a floating soiree. Maverick had brought along many of his wealthy, influential friends, and some enemies, onboard for a decadent evening of food and entertainment. Guests will enjoy dressing in 1920s formal wear, food, cocktails, live music and the Murder Mystery game/show.
Paranormal History Adventure
Join the Canadian Paranormal Society and the S.S. Sicamous Society on July 29 for an intriguing evening of history, mystery, and thrill. Experience first-hand the excitement of a live paranormal investigation and presentation. We will explore the methodology of ghost-hunting and the history of ghosts throughout the Okanagan region.

Party in the Park
Come on down to the S.S. Sicamous for a Beer garden and a live performance with the Yard Katz. Please note that you must be 19 or order to enter the beer zone. Tickets are $25.00 each.
South Okanagan Plastic Models Contest
Do you share a passion for small scale model building? Than our South Okanagan Plastic Models contest is perfect for you. All skill levels and types of molders are welcome to participate in the contest.
The general public is welcome to come on down to the ship to help judge and check out the models. Regular museum admission fee applies but feel free to come back during judging to see the results.
